Project Goal

Migrate their difficult-to-use WordPress blog to a user-friendly, high-performing Webflow platform that was optimized for SEO.

DonorsChoose, a highly-rated charity that supports classroom projects, partnered with us at Belt Creative to improve their blog. They were struggling with a difficult-to-use WordPress website, poor performance, and SEO issues. Our mission was to migrate their blog to Webflow and deliver an easy-to-use, high-performing platform for their content team.

The Challenge

The DonorsChoose team was facing challenges with their WordPress blog. It was difficult to use, had poor performance, and was not optimized for SEO. They needed a blog that was user-friendly, high-performing, and optimized for search engines to effectively reach and engage their audience.

The Solution

We recommended a migration to Webflow, known for its user-friendly interface and high performance. We worked closely with the DonorsChoose team to ensure a smooth transition, maintaining the integrity of their SEO efforts and enhancing the usability and performance of their blog.

The Results

The migration to Webflow resulted in a blog that is easy to use, high-performing, and optimized for SEO. The DonorsChoose content team can now manage their blog more effectively, reaching and engaging their audience more efficiently. The blog supports their mission of getting essential supplies to classrooms, helping students get back to learning.

Our collaboration with DonorsChoose is a shining example of how Belt Creative can transform a struggling blog into a powerful tool for communication and engagement. By migrating their blog to Webflow, we were able to provide a user-friendly, high-performing platform that supports their mission of helping students get back to learning. This case study underscores our dedication to understanding and addressing our clients' unique challenges, and our ability to deliver solutions that truly make a difference.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

What They Said About Us

The Belt Creative team was always game to dive in and explore the questions we had. We came to them with big messy puzzles and left with a beautiful, functional site. They are incredible thought partners and truly made our website a success. Their deep knowledge of Webflow helped us get the most out of the new tool, and their attention to detail and time management meant that we were set up for a successful and on-time launch. I highly recommend them for teams big and small looking for kind and creative thought partners.
